Yuta Watanabe back with Toronto's second unit Thursday
Toronto Raptors shooting guard Yuta Watanabe is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Boston Celtics.
Watanabe made a spot-start on Wednesday but played just 11 minutes and was scoreless. Stanley Johnson will start on Thursday while Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Patrick McCaw, and Malachi Flynn all remain out for Toronto.
numberFire’s models project Watanabe for 15.8 minutes and 13.0 FanDuel points versus the Celtics. He has a salary of $4,500 on Thursday’s nine-game slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Raptors have the third-lowest implied total (106.3 points) among the 18 teams playing Thursday.
