Zion Williamson (toe) now doubtful for Pelicans against Heat
New Orleans Pelicans small forward Zion Williamson is doubtful to play Thursday versus the Miami Heat due to right fifth toe irritation.
Williamson is a late addition to the injury report and now expected to pick up his first absence of the season. Brandon Ingram will help fill the void on offense for New Orleans and he will benefit if Jimmy Butler (knee) remains out for Miami. Lonzo Ball and Eric Bledsoe also figure to be more involved.
Ingram has a salary of $7,800 on Thursday's nine-game slate and numberFire's models project him for 39.7 FanDuel points. Ingram is leading the Pelicans with a 31.0 usage percentage when Zion isn't on the court this season, up from 28.4 percent when they share the floor.
