Raptors' Yuta Watanabe drawing first NBA start Wednesday in place of OG Anunoby (protocols)
Toronto Raptors shooting guard Yuta Watanabe will start Wednesday versus the Detroit Pistons.
Watanabe will be joined by Kyle Lowry, Terence Davis, Norman Powell, and Aron Baynes in the starting lineup. The Raptors will be without OG Anunoby, Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, Patrick McCaw, and Malachi Flynn due to the league's health and safety protocols. Jalen Harris and Donta Hall were recalled from the NBA G League to give the Raptors 12 available players on Wednesday.
numberFire’s models project Watanabe for 20.3 minutes and 15.0 FanDuel points versus the Pistons. He has a salary of $3,500 on Wednesday’s 10-game slate.
