Maxi Kleber back in Mavericks' lineup Thursday, James Johnson on bench
Dallas Mavericks power forward Maxi Kleber will start on Thursday versus the Philadelphia 76ers.
Kleber will return to the starting lineup in place of James Johnson after sitting out last game with an ankle issue. His fellow starting frontcourt mate, Kristaps Porzingis, will remain out for a third consecutive contest. Kleber has scored single digits in five straight games but he is averaging 5.7 boards over the last three.
numberFire’s models project Kleber for 20.8 FanDuel points versus the 76ers and he has a salary of $3,900 on Thursday’s six-game slate. Philly is allowing the fourth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the power forward position this season and the Mavericks are tied for having the third-lowest implied total (112.0) among the 12 teams playing Thursday, per our NBA Heat Map.
