Derrick Rose starting for Knicks Thursday in place of injured Elfrid Payton
New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose will start on Thursday in the team's game against the Sacramento Kings.
After originally being listed as doubtful to play and then being upgraded to a game-time decision, Elfrid Payton has officially been ruled out due to a hamstring injury. As such, there's a spot open atop the Knicks' starting lineup, and Rose will assume the role for now. Immanuel Quickley should also see an increase in minutes with Payton's absence.
Our models project Rose for 16.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 30.1 FanDuel points across 27.4 minutes of action.
