Rockets' Christian Wood (ankle) hoping to return after break
Houston Rockets forward/center Christian Wood (ankle) said he hopes to return before the All-Star break.
Wood hasn't played since injuring his ankle on February 4. The Rockets have five more games before the All-Star break, with the last one on March 3, so Wood has less than two weeks to get back out there. Justin Patton is currently the only healthy center on Houston's roster after being signed last week. He provided 4 points, 6 boards, and 3 blocks in 21 minutes off the bench Monday in his season debut.
numberFire's models currently project Patton for 18.5 FanDuel points in 20.8 minutes on Wednesday versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has a salary of $3,500 and is our fourth-best value among centers on the nine-game slate.
