Ben Simmons (illness) ruled out for 76ers against Rockets
Philadelphia 76ers forward Ben Simmons will not play Wednesday versus the Houston Rockets due to an illness.
76ers head coach Doc Rivers said he believes Simmons has the stomach flu. Joel Embiid (back) is active after missing last game and will be in line for a busy workload. Tyrese Maxey will likely draw the start and he could see a generous portion of minutes as the 76ers will also be without Shake Milton (ankle).
Embiid is registering a 43.6 percent usage rate without Simmons and Milton on the court this season. He has a salary of $10,700 on Wednesday's 10-game slate and our models project him for 51.4 FanDuel points. The 76ers and Rockets both rank in the top-10 in offensive pace this season, providing a fantasy-friendly playing environment.
