Orlando rules Frank Mason (groin) out for Sunday versus Phoenix
The Orlando Magic have ruled Frank Mason (groin) out for Sunday's game against the Phoenix Suns.
Mason strained his groin in Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors and hasn't been able to recover quite yet. He'll get another game of rest and try again for Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks.
Mason's workload was likely to have thinned out with the return of Michael Carter-Williams to the Magic's lineup, but his absence tonight does set Carter-Williams and Dwayne Bacon up for big workloads against the Suns.
