Wizards' Ish Smith (quad) to miss at least 2 games
Washington Wizards point guard Ish Smith (quad), who has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics, will also miss Monday's game against the Houston Rockets.
Smith strained his quad during Friday's game against the New York Knicks, and Wizards head coach Scott Brooks ruled him out for both today's game against the Celtics as well as for tomorrow's game against the Houston Rockets. It's possible he misses time beyond tomorrow's game as well.
Smith's absence should open up more looks for Raul Neto, who has averaged 15.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per 36 minutes this season.
