George Hill undergoes thumb surgery, out for Thunder 4-plus weeks
Oklahoma City Thunder guard George Hill had right thumb surgery on Tuesday and he'll be re-evaluated in four weeks.
Theo Maledon should continue to start while Hill is sidelined. The rookie scored a career-high 24 points last Friday and is shooting 65.2 percent from the field over his past three games. Hill's absence should also lead to more work for Lu Dortmale and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
SGA is averaging 38.7 FanDuel points with a 28.5 percent usage rate and Dort is averaging 15.0 FanDuel points with a 19.6 percent usage rate when Hill doesn't play. Maledon is averaging 19.3 FanDuel points without Hill active.
