Derrick Jones Jr. (foot) could return to Trail Blazers this week
Portland Trail Blazers small forward Derrick Jones Jr. (left foot sprain) is "feeling better" and could return this week, according to head coach Terry Stotts.
The Trail Blazers are on a road trip until February 9 and Stotts is hopeful Jones will be cleared to play "before the Blazers head back to Portland." If Jones isn't cleared for Tuesday night's game against the Washington Wizards, his next chance to play will be on Thursday versus the Philadelphia 76ers. Nassir Little started the last two games in place of Jones and popped off for a career-high 30 points on Monday in a lopsided loss.
numberFire's models currently project DJJ for 22.1 FanDuel points on Tuesday. He has a salary of $4,900 for the six-game slate. Little has a minimum salary of $3,500 after scoring a career-best 46.7 FanDuel points on Monday.
