Wizards rule Alan Anderson (ankle) out for Tuesday
Washington Wizards guard/forward Alan Anderson (ankle surgery) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
Anderson went through a full practice on Monday and was a full participant during shootaround, so all signs point towards him making his season debut with the Wizards tonight. While he'll provide Washington with a much-needed defensive presence on the wing, he's not going to be a major factor on offense and is unlikely to bring enough to the stat sheet for consideration in most leagues.
Anderson posted a -1.2 nERD in 74 games last year, averaging 7.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 3-pointers in 23.6 minutes per contest.
