Christian Wood (ankle) doubtful for Rockets on Tuesday
Houston Rockets forward/center Christian Wood (right ankle sprain) is doubtful for Tuesday against the Washington Wizards.
Wood is headed for a third straight missed game due to his ankle sprain. He also had an excused absence from Monday's practice. DeMarcus Cousins put up 28 points with 17 boards, 5 assists, and 4 3-pointers as a starter on Saturday versus the Dallas Mavericks. He has totaled 32 rebounds in two games with Wood sidelined.
Wood is averaging 44.0 FanDuel points per game and his career-high 27.6 percent usage rate is second on the Rockets. Boogie is averaging 1.3 FanDuel points per minute with a 28.3 percent usage rate without Wood on the floor. The Wizards are allowing the fifth-most FanDuel points per game to the center position this season.
