Phil Pressey hands out 10 assists for Suns in loss

Phoenix Suns point guard Phil Pressey handed out 10 assists in Monday's blowout loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, adding four points on 2-of-7 shooting with one board and one steal.

What It Means:

He saw 28 minutes of action as the backup point guard and looked solid, but he did miss both of his 3-pointers and had three turnovers, as well. The Suns have moved Archie Goodwin to the two in order to open up minutes for Ronnie Price and Pressey, but Brandon Knight (groin) could return in a couple of weeks. Owners in deeper leagues should just put Pressey on their radar for now. Pressey is currently on a 10-day contract.

Through 16 games this season on 14.1 minutes a night, Pressey has earned -1.7 nERD, ranking him inside the top 100 for the league. He's averaging 4.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game on 36.8 percent shooting from the field in his limited action.
