John Wall (knee) ruled out for Rockets on Thursday

Houston Rockets point guard John Wall (left knee soreness) is ruled out for Thursday's game versus the San Antonio Spurs.

What It Means:

Wall will not be available for the Rockets' first game in the post-James Harden era. Eric Gordon (leg) is questionable and Victor Oladipo is unlikely to be cleared in time after just being acquired, so Christian Wood could be real busy on offense. DeMarcus Cousins and David Nwaba would also be more involved if the Rockets are shorthanded.

Per FantasyLabs, Boogie leads the Rockets with a 30.9 usage percentage when Wall, Harden, and Gordon aren't on the court this season. Nwaba (28.4) and Wood (26.6) are second and third.
