Jimmer Time: Knicks sign Fredette to a 10-day contract

New York Knicks guard Jimmer Fredette has been signed to a 10-day contract.

What It Means:

The reality is Fredette has a ton to show as an NBA player, and this may be his final chance to do it. He's not going to suddenly leapfrog Jose Calderon or Langston Galloway in the rotation, so it's hard to see how he's going to prove himself.

In 50 games with the New Orleans Pelicans last season, Fredette averaged 3.6 points and 0.2 3-pointers on 18.8 percent shooting from deep.
