Marcus Smart (thumb) returning for Celtics Wednesday
Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart (thumb) will play Wednesday versus the Miami Heat.
Smart will return to the court after missing Monday's matchup. He will likely replace Tremont Waters in the starting lineup. Jeff Teague (ankle) will remain out, so Payton Pritchard should still see a sizable role off the bench. Smart has scored double-digits every game and is averaging 6.7 assists. His current career-high is 4.9 assists and was set last year.
numberFire’s models project Smart for 28.9 FanDuel points versus the Heat and he has a salary of $5,900 on Wednesday’s slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Celtics have an implied total of 107.8 points on the 11-game offering.
