Gordon Hayward (finger) starting for Hornets in opener
Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Gordon Hayward (finger) is starting in Wednesday's season opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Hayward said earlier this week that he will deal with the pain and play through his finger injury. The Hornets' full season-opening starting lineup: Devonte' Graham, Terry Rozier, Hayward, P.J. Washington, and Cody Zeller.
numberFire's models currently expect Hayward to score 29.7 FanDuel points versus the Cavaliers. He has a salary of $6,500 on Wednesday's slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Hornets-Cavs game has the second-lowest over/under (217.0) of the night.
