Pelicans sign Bryce Dejean-Jones, waive Jarnell Stokes

New Orleans Pelicans guard Bryce Dejean-Jones was signed to a multi-year deal on Friday while Jarnell Stokes was waived in a related move.

What It Means:

Dejean-Jones has earned his new deal in New Orleans, and he could get decent minutes down the stretch if the Pelicans fall out of the playoff race. The return of Eric Gordon (finger) won't do his fantasy value any favors, so he's only worth a look in deeper leagues for now.

Dejean-Jones currently ranks 77th with a -0.4 nERD through 11 games this season, including eight as a starter. On the year, he's averaging 6.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.9 3-pointers per game on a 52.9 True Shooting Percentage.
