Nemanja Bjelica (foot) out Friday for Timberwolves
Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Nemanja Bjelica (sore foot) won't travel with the Wolves for Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies as he seeks medical opinions about his injury.
Bjelica's foot has kept him on crutches for the past two days, and it's not entirely clear what the issue is. During the All-Star break, he reportedly went through his normal routine, but after returning to Minnesota, he had a sore foot. Bjelica's absence creates a few extra minutes in the frontcourt, but for fantasy purposes, there are no clear-cut winners here.
Bjelica's nERD ranks 91st at -1.5 in 46 games played this season. He's averaging 4.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while posting a 54.9 True Shooting Percentage. We project him to average 3.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game over the remaining course of the season while shooting 46.0 percent from the floor.
