Kentavious Caldwell-Pope reportedly re-ups with Lakers on 3-year contract
Los Angeles Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has re-signed with the team, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Caldwell-Pope played well last season as the Lakers took home their first title in a decade, and he was rewarded this offseason with a handsome contract. It's a 3-year deal worth $40 million, keeping the 27-year-old wing in La La Land for the foreseeable future. He'll likely be a staple in the second unit with the ability to grab starts from time to time.
In 69 games last season, Caldwell-Pope averaged 9.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest.
