The Charlotte Hornets have reportedly signed forward Gordon Hayward to a four-year $120 million contract.
Hayward will reportedly join the Hornets after opting out of his contract with the Boston Celtics earlier this week. The 30-year old forward should play an increased role offensively with his new team after producing a below-average usage rate of 21.1% last season (career 22.8%).
In 55 games during the 2019-2020 season, Hayward averaged 17.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists.
