Charania: Pelicans reportedly finalizing deal to acquire Steven Adams from Thunder
According to Shams Charania, the New Orleans Pelicans are finalized a trade to acquire center Steven Adams from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Adams will be included in the giant deal involving Jrue Holiday heading to the Milwaukee Bucks. With Derrick Favors recently signing with the Utah Jazz, expect Adams to start at center next season.
In 63 games during the 2019-2020 season, Adams averaged 10.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.
