Wizards re-sign Davis Bertans on five-year deal worth $80 million
Washington Wizards forward Davis Bertans has agreed to a five-year deal worth $80 million, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Bertans was clearly a priority of the Wizards as they quickly re-signed him to a deal worth $16 million per season. The deal includes a team option in the fifth year. The 28-year-old played in 54 games for Washington last season, starting 4. The former 42nd overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft will remain in Washington after being traded to the Wizards from the San Antonio Spurs in July of 2019.
Bertans averaged 15.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 26.2 FanDuel points per game during the 2019-20 NBA season.
