Hawks sign Danilo Gallinari to three-year deal worth $61.5 million
Former Oklahoma City Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari is signing with the Atlanta Hawks on a three-year deal worth $61.5 million, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Gallinari will move on from the Thunder after one season. The 32-year-old played and started in 62 games for OKC last season, averaging 29.6 minutes per game. The sixth overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft will add a fifth team to his twelve-year NBA career. He will join a Hawks team that finished last season ranked 29th overall in numberFire's NBA Power Rankings.
Gallinari averaged 18.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 27.9 FanDuel points per game during the 2019-20 season.
