Eric Bledsoe traded from Bucks to Pelicans in Jrue Holiday deal

The New Orleans Pelicans are acquiring guard Eric Bledsoe from the Milwaukee Bucks, per multiple reports.

What It Means:

The Pelicans are acquiring Bledsoe, George Hill, and a collection of draft picks from the Bucks in exchange for Jrue Holiday. Bledsoe will likely start at shooting guard next to Lonzo Ball in New Orleans and he could settle in as the second scorer behind Brandon Ingram. His role and usage don't figure to change too much on the Pelicans but Bledsoe's arrival could take minutes away from J.J. Redick and limit the development of Nickeil Alexander-Walker.

Bledsoe averaged 30.1 FanDuel points with 14.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.2 3-pointers in 27.0 minutes per game last season.
