Heat not optimistic Goran Dragic (plantar fascia) will be available for Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday

The Miami Heat are not optimistic that guard Goran Dragic will be available for Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. He is officially listed as doubtful.

What It Means:

Dragic is dealing with a plantar fascia tear and is in jeopardy of missing a second consecutive game. Dragic reportedly lobbied to play in Game 2 but was ruled out, and despite receiving "near-constant" treatment, is unlikely to be active for Game 3. Tyler Herro started in Dragic's place for Game 2 and is expected to do so in Game 3 if Dragic remains out.

Herro's Game 3 projection includes 17.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 28.7 FanDuel points in 34.7 minutes played.
