Shabazz Muhammad

Multiple clubs keen on Timberwolves' Shabazz Muhammad

Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Shabazz Muhammad is reportedly drawing the interest of a handful of teams, including the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns, who have all reached out to the Timberwolves in regards to the availability of Muhammad.

What It Means:

Muhammad could be exciting in Phoenix, but there's no indication these reported talks have been anything more than exploratory. Muhammad needs more playing time to pop up on the standard league radar, and that won't be happening in Minnesota.

Muhammad is just inside the top 100 with a -1.8 nERD. He's playing 20.2 minutes a night while averaging 9.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and not much else while working with a 54.4 True Shooting Percentage, which is on par with his career average.
