O.J. Mayo

O.J. Mayo starting, Michael Carter-Williams headed to bench for Bucks

Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. Mayo (hamstring) will start Tuesday versus the Boston Celtics, sending Michael Carter-Williams to the bench.

What It Means:

The Bucks will roll out a starting five of Mayo, Kris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker and Miles Plumlee for Tuesday's game -- with Carter-Williams and Greg Monroe coming off the bench. It'll be interesting to see how many minutes Jason Kidd gives Mayo given that he has spent the past 11 games on the sidelines, but Carter-Williams' minutes look ready to take a hit with both Mayo and Jerryd Bayless active.

Mayo ranks 122nd in the league with a -5.1 nERD. Our models project him to put up 10.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 3-pointers tonight against the Celtics.
