Nuggets' Danilo Gallinari hits 18 of 18 free throws, nets 33 points
Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari scored a season-high 33 points during a 115-110 win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday, adding three rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.
He made all 18 attempts from the line. Gallinari is the first player to take at least 18 free throws and make all of them since Kobe Bryant in 2013. He was cooling off a bit before this one and only has sixth-round value in his last 10 games.
Despite the great shooting night, Gallinari is in the midst of the worst shooting season of his career, posting a career-low 47.7 Effective Field Goal Percentage. Gallinari has still been very productive, though. His 8.1 nERD ranks 17th, and he is averaging 19.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
