Markieff Morris starting Thursday as Lakers wrap up regular season
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Markieff Morris is starting on Thursday afternoon against the Sacramento Kings.
Morris and Talen Horton-Tucker will replace Anthony Davis (knee) and Kyle Kuzma (rest) in the starting lineup. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (ribs) and Alex Caruso (neck) have also been ruled out and LeBron James and Danny Green are only going to play in the first half, so Morris is set up for a heavy workload. He averaged 13.4 points and 2.1 3-pointers for the Detroit Pistons earlier this season in the games he logged at least 20 minutes.
numberFire's models expect Morris to score 23.2 FanDuel points on Thursday. He costs $3,500.
