Joel Embiid (ankle) ruled out for 76ers on Tuesday
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (left ankle) will not play on Tuesday versus the Phoenix Suns.
What It Means:
Embiid will be re-evaluated later on Monday. Josh Richardson (rest) has also been ruled out while Al Horford (left knee soreness) and Tobias Harris (right ankle soreness) are questionable. Norvell Pelle and Kyle O'Quinn could be looking at a lot of minutes on Tuesday.
Embiid has the eighth-highest usage percentage (32.9) in the NBA, per Basketball Reference, so his absence creates a sizable void on offense for the 76ers.
