Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (calf) ruled out Monday afternoon for Thunder in second half of back-to-back
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is out for Monday afternoon's game against the Phoenix Suns due to a right calf contusion.
The Thunder are on the second half of a back-to-back set, so Gilgeous-Alexander's absence likely has more to do with rest than injury. Danilo Gallinari (ankle), Steven Adams (leg), and Nerlens Noel (ankle) have also been ruled out for Monday's matinee, so Chris Paul could also wind up having his minutes managed. Look for the likes of Terrance Ferguson, Lu Dort, Hamidou Diallo, and Abdel Nader to help fill the void.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Thunder are 7.5-point underdogs on Monday afternoon.
