Hassan Whiteside (hip) ruled out for Blazers Sunday
The Portland Trail Blazers have ruled Hassan Whiteside (left hip) out for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Whiteside missed Saturday's loss against the Los Angeles Clippers as well, and it is unclear exactly when he can be expected to return. His absence won't affect the Blazers' starting lineup much, but could lead to increased minutes for Carmelo Anthony.
Whiteside was on a tear before the hiatus, but has been slow to start so far since the league resumed play with under 20 fantasy points in 3 of his 4 games. Hopefully the extra time off will help him get back to form.
