Clippers being cautious with Patrick Beverley (calf)
Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley (left calf strain) will not play on Thursday against the Dallas Mavericks.
What It Means:
Beverley exited Tuesday's game with some left calf soreness and did not return. Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said he'll be extra cautious in bringing Beverley back and that he could potentially be out for a "couple of days, a couple games." Landry Shamet will make the start at point guard for the Clippers on Thursday. Reggie Jackson figures to be leaned on more than normal.
