Thunder's Dennis Schroder (personal) leaves bubble, out Monday
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Dennis Schroder (personal) has left the bubble to be with his family and will not play on Monday against the Denver Nuggets, per Thunder head coach Billy Donovan.
Schroder and his wife are expecting their second child. He made it known before the season restarted that he would have to leave the bubble for fatherly duties. Schroder should be back before the playoffs begin. He played 21.6 minutes on Sunday and scored 13 points (5-of-8 field goals, 3-of-4 free throws) with 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander should see more playing time while Schroder is out. Chris Paul is also set up for a boost.
Schroder scored 16.4 FanDuel points on Sunday. Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Thunder are -245 favorites on Monday.
