Wojnarowski: Eric Gordon (ankle) out for Rockets at least 1-2 weeks
Houston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon is expected to miss at least 1-2 weeks with a left ankle injury, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni claimed Gordon was expected to "miss a few days" with the injury, but that appears to have been a bit optimistic. Ben McLemore will likely replace Gordon in the starting lineup when the Rockets resume play on Friday versus the Dallas Mavericks. There will also be larger roles for Austin Rivers and Danuel House as Houston tries to replace their third option on offense. James Harden and Russell Westbrook may also wind up with a few more shots.
Per RotoGrinders, Gordon has the third-highest usage percentage (22.1) among the Rockets' rotation players. When Gordon is off the floor, Harden's usage rises by 3.0 percent to a whopping 40.0 percent.
