Buddy Hield (COVID-19) joins Kings
Sacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield (COVID-19) has joined the team in Orlando.
What It Means:
Hield needs to have two negative tests over a 24-hour period to begin practicing with the Kings. Jabari Parker is in the same situation. Hield was averaging 19.8 points in 31.9 minutes per game this season before the hiatus. He has the second-highest usage rate (27.1 percent) on the Kings behind De'Aaron Fox (29.6). The Kings return to the court on July 31 against the San Antonio Spurs.
Hield is averaging 31.4 FanDuel points per game. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Kings are tied for having the worst odds (+25000) to win the NBA Championship.
