Wizards' Garrison Matthews (personal) reportedly not in Orlando
Washington Wizards shooting guard Garrison Matthews did not travel with the team to Orlando due to personal reasons, reports Fred Katz of The Athletic.
Matthews does not have COVID-19, but it's unclear if he will join the Wizards at a later date or skip out on the remainder of the season entirely. Matthews was expected to see an increase in workload since the Wizards will be without Bradley Beal (shoulder) and Davis Bertans (personal). Jerome Robinson could now be looking at a boost.
Matthews owns a 17.6 percent usage rate and averages 0.8 FanDuel points per minute when Beal and Bertans are both sidelined this season. Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Wizards are tied for having the worst odds (+25000) to win the NBA Championship.
