Raptors' Terence Davis doing pick-and-roll work

Toronto Raptors shooting guard Terence Davis said he's working on "mastering the pick and roll."

What It Means:

“I think I’ll be a secondary ball-handler going into the bubble," Davis said. "And [I'm working on] shooting off the dribble ... I can shoot the ball off of catch-and-shoot with Kyle [Lowry], Fred [VanVleet] creating for me ... the next step is creating my own shot." Davis was only averaging 14.8 minutes per game after the All-Star break, so he may not have much opportunity to show off his skills. When Fred VanVleet and Norman Powell were dealing with injuries in February, Davis averaged 22.3 minutes over 10 games, with 12.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals, and 2.3 triples.

numberFire's models project Davis for 11.0 minutes and 10.4 FanDuel points when the Raptors return to the court on August 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
