Nuggets, Nikola Jokic (COVID-19) still figuring out travel
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic still hasn't joined the team in Orlando.
The Nuggets arrived in the bubble on Tuesday and begin full practice on Thursday. Jokic tested positive for COVID-19 while in Serbia and is still arranging flights to Orlando, per Nuggets general manager Calvin Booth. “We’re trying to work out the logistics right now,” Booth said in a Zoom call with media on Wednesday. “He’s not en route as far as I know. I think waiting, just to get a proper flight and get here. I think he’s feeling good about his situation and is ready to go.” Jokic should have enough time to make it for the Nuggets' first game against the Miami Heat on August 1.
numberFire's models expect Jokic to score 49.8 FanDuel points against the Heat. He's averaging 1.4 FanDuel points per minute and has a usage rate of 26.7 percent.
