Raptors' Pascal Siakam hoopless for months
Toronto Raptors power forward Pascal Siakam went "around three months without actually playing or shooting the basketball."
Siakam said it's "definitely" the longest he's gone without playing basketball, but Raptors head coach Nick Nurse isn't concerned. "Look, if you walked in the gym this morning and watched [Siakam and Matt Thomas] work out, you wouldn’t have known they missed two months without touching a ball, I don’t think.” Siakam and the Raptors resume play on August 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
numberFire's models expect Siakam to score 39.8 FanDuel points against the Lakers. He averaged 1.1 FanDuel points per minute before the hiatus. His .591 effective field goal percentage currently ranks 14th in the NBA.
