Brandon Ingram never in doubt for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans small forward Brandon Ingram said his status for the Orlando restart was never in doubt.
Ingram is set to be one of the top restricted free agents this summer, but that won't keep him from joining his teammates in Orlando. “I didn’t look at it as if I had a choice of going or not. My teammates knew that I didn’t question it or anything. I just wanted to play basketball at the end of the day,” Ingram said. “I’m going to do it and let my teammates know I’m there 110%. I have to be there. It wasn’t a question.” Ingram's point per game has lept from 18.3 to 24.3 in his fourth season. He's also putting up personal-highs in rebounds (6.3), assists (4.3), steals (1.0), and triples (2.4).
numberFire's models expect Ingram to average 23.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 2.3 3-pointers in Orlando. He was averaging 1.2 FanDuel points per minute before the season was suspended.
