Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke (quad) fully recovered
Memphis Grizzlies power forward Brandon Clarke said he has fully recovered from a right quad injury.
The injury forced Clarke to miss the Grizzlies' last eight games before play was suspended. Head coach Taylor Jenkins recently said Clarke is "looking good, feeling good," so the quad shouldn't be a problem during the NBA's restart. Clarke, the 21st overall pick from last summer's draft, has been the Grizzlies' first big off the bench this season. In 50 games prior to stoppage, Clarke averaged 12.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.8 blocks with a 62.3 field goal percentage in 21.7 minutes per contest. Clarke's return will likely mean fewer minutes for Gorgui Dieng and, to a lesser extent, Josh Jackson.
Clarke is averaging 24.4 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models expect him to average 12.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.6 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 0.8 3-pointers over the rest of the season.
