Lakers' J.R. Smith in 'terrific physical condition'
New Los Angeles Lakers guard J.R. Smith is in 'terrific physical condition' according to coach Frank Vogel, despite not playing for 20 months.
Vogel reportedly raved about Smith's initial workouts, adding, 'his nickname is "Swish' for a reason.' Smith signed with the Lakers on the first after Avery Bradley elected not to return for the conclusion of the 2019-20 season. He is expected to work with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to replace Bradley for the remainder of the season.
numberFire currently projects Smith to play between 14-15 minutes in each of the team's next four games with an average of 9.74 FanDuel fantasy points per game.
