76ers' Ben Simmons (back) better than start of season
Philadelphia 76ers forward Ben Simmons (lower back) said he feels "better than I was when I started the season."
Simmons also said he's put on a lot more muscle during the NBA's hiatus. 76ers head coach Brett Brown said Simmons won't be restricted when play resumes later this month. Simmons missed the final eight games before the season was suspended due to a back injury. His return will likely hurt Shake Milton the most. Joel Embiid also won't need to shoulder so much of the offensive workload.
Simmons was averaging 43.0 FanDuel points per game prior to the injury, fourth-most among point guards.
