Rockets' Eric Gordon (knee) "back at full health"
Houston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon is "back at full health" after dealing with a knee injury that forced him to miss multiple games before the shutdown.
What It Means:
Gordon said "I'm happy that I'm back to full health. Now I'm back to my self and what I should be doing". Regarding the Rockets' commitment to playing small ball and increasing their tempo in Orlando, Gordon said that he believes that they "should be able to make the game easier for one another". While dealing with his troublesome knees, Gordon averaged 14.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 21 FanDuel points per game before the shutdown. His first game back will come against the Dallas Mavericks on July 31st.
numberFire's models project Gordon to average 14.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals, and 2.3 triples with a 41.4 field goal percentage and 35.2 3-point percentage over the rest of the season.
