Indiana Pacers guard / forward Justin Holiday announced he will play in Orlando after being "on the fence" about returning.
In a recent article in the Players Tribune, Holiday explained he has committed to playing despite initial hesitation. ""Working to achieve financial security is not something to be ashamed of," said Holiday in his article. "And as we head back to the court to resume the season, many players will be out there for the same reason I am — for our futures. But I also realize that there’s something just as critical at stake. More than ever, there is a dire need now to elevate my Black brothers and sisters, to use my platform to empower and elevate our people."
If the Pacers are close to full strength in Orlando, expect Holiday to resume his role playing with Indiana's second unit. In 1615.5 minutes on the court this season, Holiday is averaging 0.76 FanDuel points per minute and a usage rate of 13.0%.
