DeMarcus Cousins' (knee) agent says he may play

Free agent forward/center DeMarcus Cousins' (knee) agent, Jeff Schwartz, told the Los Angeles Times' Tania Ganguli that Cousins has not ruled out participating in the NBA's Orlando restart.

What It Means:

This contradicts an earlier report from Shams Charania of The Athletic which claimed Cousins would sit out to continue rehabbing his torn ACL in preparation of the 2020-21 season. Cousins has reportedly drawn interest from multiple teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and Washington Wizards.

Cousins averaged 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.5 blocks, and 0.9 3-pointers in 25.7 minutes over 30 games for the Golden State Warriors back in 2018-19.
