Trail Blazers' Trevor Ariza reportedly opting out of Orlando
Portland Trail Blazers guard/forward Trevor Ariza is opting out of participating in the NBA's restart in Orlando, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Ariza is instead using a one-month visitation window with his young son amidst a custody case. Rodney Hood (Achilles) is also out, so Mario Hezonja should see plenty of playing time when things pick back up next month. Hezonja's usage rate (13.7 percent) has been unaffected when both Ariza and Hood have been sidelined.
Ariza is currently tied for the second-lowest usage rate (12.6 percent) on the Trail Blazers. Per FanDuel Sportsbook, Portland is tied for the 15th-worst odds (+16000) to win the NBA Championship.
